The Gift Basket Boutique had been operating successfully since 1986, but its website no longer reflected the business. The experience was outdated, non-responsive, and limiting growth.

Dangerous Toaster was brought in to modernize the digital experience and create a stronger foundation for online sales. We migrated the business to a more reliable hosting platform, rebuilt the website with e-commerce at its core, and redesigned the experience to make browsing and purchasing easier across devices.

The work also included new product photography, a refreshed logo, and an updated visual identity — helping the brand feel more current, credible, and commercially competitive online.

The result was a significant shift in performance, with online sales increasing by approximately 400% following launch. The owner later retired and sold the business, but the project remains a strong example of how the right digital experience can materially impact growth.
